Squarespace website migration and SEO for Rugby business.
Background
Wayne Rabin runs a marketing company that helps local firms with creative business development. He built a website himself using GoDaddy’s Website Builder but it wasn’t performing as well as he wanted.
Squarespace Website & SEO
I reviewed and identified several services within GoDaddy that could be shut down, which will save Wayne money, and then set about migrating the website over to Squarespace.
I migrated the site across from GoDaddy to Squarespace in its entirety and then updated its structure and content based on keyword research and the data coming in to Analytics. I also helped set up back links to the site to help improve its ranking further.
Google Business Profile
A fully configured Google Business Profile has been set up to help with Local Search and to manage the business’s online presence. (Previously known as Google My Business).
Google Workspace Business Email
The budget GoDaddy email account was upgraded and migrated to Google Workspace, providing much better SPAM and malware protection.
Next Steps
The work completed to date will help increase the existing site’s traffic and search ranking, and use the data gained to develop the site further with relevant structure and content. Alongside improved branding and social media platforms this will result in major improvements for Out of The Fire!
