Low-cost website and logo design for salon in Winsford.
Background
Gemma runs a hair and nail salon from her home in Winsford, Cheshire. Her only online presence was Instagram and Facebook profiles meaning that most of her clients were gained from word of mouth.
Logo Design
I started off by designing branding that works well across all the key platforms including Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram at various sizes.
Local Search
On completion of Gemma’s logo it was then applied to a freshly setup Google Business Profile (previously known as Google My Business), which she now has full control over via their mobile app.
This allows potential new clients to easily find her via Google searches, and displays key information like opening hours and contact information.
Low Cost Website
As Gemma’s budget was tight I set her up with a Google Business Profile Website linked to a custom web domain. While this limits design and available features it covers the essentials that a business requires and incurs no on-going charges.
Print Design
A final job was to design and print an A5 price-list which clients can pickup from her salon.
