Background
Neena is based in Nuneaton, Warwickshire, and has been selling her incredible jewellery via a homemade Weebly Ecommerce website for close to a decade.
She approached me with a modest budget for a small refurbishment that would give users a more professional impression and improve search engine performance.
Google Business Profile
I started off by setting up a Google Business Profile (previously known as Google My Business), Analytics and Search Console. Getting these tools set up nice and early really helped analyse which pages and features to prioritise.
Site Structure
I then worked with Neena to improve the use of categories in the back end. Once this was sorted I set up proper dynamic category and product pages that have increased usability for both customers and search engines.

To improve SEO (Search Engine Optimisation) I created a dynamic XML sitemap and structured product data that allows Google to index the site and its’ products effectively.
I also took care of the basics ensuring that effective 301 redirects are in place for old and renamed pages, and meta tags and permalinks are in place.
